A dream that continues thanks to all of you, for whom ethics and the art of craftsmanship are timeless values. 

Guri I Zi is a sustainable brand of home and table textiles. Our products combine Made in Italy design with precious craftsmanship, entirely created on wooden looms, with natural Italian yarns such as linen and cotton.

The story of Guri I Zi is the story of a small village nestled in the mountains of northern Albania: it is here that wooden loom weaving has been passed down from mother to daughter for over a century. Craftsmanship and traditions, skilled hands that weave, sew, and embroider, giving life to high-quality interior design fabrics. 

The success with the opening of a single-brand boutique in Milan in 2012, collaborations over the years with major Department Stores, and participation in international fairs, such as Maison&Objet in Paris, have led Guri I Zi to become an Italian lifestyle in the home textile sector.

Founded in 2006 by Elena Galateri from Genola as a micro textile enterprise project for female empowerment, today Guri I Zi is a social enterprise capable of guaranteeing work to over 40 craftswomen  in Albania with the Guri I Zi project and in Italy through the Motivo Donna project. The core values of social inclusion and the fight against poverty, combined with the passion for high craftsmanship, have allowed us to restore dignity and hope to many women, and their families.
